The Brotherhood of the Boulevard Baptist Church

The Boulevard Baptist Church Brotherhood is a member of the Jamaica Baptist Union Brotherhood. Our motto is: Finding, Following and Fraternising. With this as our guide we are able to achieve the following:FindingAs men, our duty is to be role models for our peers to emulate. We do this through our work and interactions with persons in our daily lives. By doing this we are able to find other men who in turn find God.FollowingFollowing the Lord Jesus Christ requires us to conduct ourselves in a manner that He did, reaching and ministering to people.

The BBC Brotherhood is active in its outreach efforts on Red Hills Road (shelter assistance) and Maverly Basic School (teaching aids). We also visit and assist sick and shut in men of the church.FraternizingThe fellowship and camaraderie of the men are sustained by annual functions such the annual Breakfast for Men in January when attendance is usually over 100 men. At these breakfasts we discuss pertinent issues that affect the society and share ideas on possible solutions. We also participate in the JBUB annual Fun Day, a joint concert with the Women's Federation, Father's Day service, games evenings, church visits and health seminars. The special events, however, only augment our regular monthly meetings on 3rd Saturdays at 4:00 p.m.It is truly a blessed privilege to serve through the Brotherhood.
