Boulevard Baptist Church Believes:

  • That each member should witness to at least three (3) persons intentionally, per year, with the aim that they will make a decision for Christ.

  • That every individual has at least one spiritual gift and the church should be so organized to give everyone an opportunity to develop and use that gift and those gifts.

  • That each member should be good stewards of the economic blessings bestowed on them by God and give sacrificially to support the programmes of the church.

  • That we serve God best as we serve others well.

  • In friendly culture that recognizes, greets and seats her visitors.

  • That any member can attend any meeting of the church as an observer.

  • In the hallowing of the building and reverence during worship, eating excessive talking, movements during prayer, are not considered acceptable behavior.

  • That the pulpit belongs to the Pastor. Groups wishing to invite a preacher should first discuss the matter with him.

  • That the basic spiritual, physical and emotional needs of all members of the church should be addressed.

  • In a child – centered ministry that:

    • Ensures that children are taught the Word of God and are able to apply the word to their own lives.

    • Embraces all age groups of children and will seek to encourage their parents an guardians to participate in worship.

  • That there should be meaningful ongoing interaction between community and church in order to impact on the culture of the community.

  • That the church as a caring body of Christ, should seek to understand the spiritual and physical needs of those persons who live and work in close proximity.
