Women's Federation

The Jamaica Baptist Woman's Federation (JBWF) is the story of the faith and prayers of a few who had a vision. With years of unbroken service, we give God the glory and continue to seek His guidance as the years go by.
The JBWF was formed at
Bethel Town in Westmoreland on December 10, 1922, by a group of women who were either wives or daughters of Baptist ministers, with a strong desire to establish a fellowship for those in Christian service.
Deeply challenged to meet the needs, care for neglected children, and provide a home for the homeless, the federation adopted as its motto,' SEEK, SAVE, SERVE' Seek neglected children while providing them with an opportunity to become worthy and industrious. Save them from sickness of body mind and spirit, and serve them diligently by properly training them.
